About BiblioLife

An end-to-end ecosystem for one of the biggest cultural challenges of the 21st Century.

The BiblioLife Network (BLN) is a project aimed at addressing some of the huge challenges facing book preservationists around the world. Namely, that the 60-90 million out-of-print books at libraries and archives are in need of digitization, descriptive data and relevance to people in the modern age seeking the knowledge they contain.

The BLN includes libraries, library networks, archives, subject matter experts, online communities and library service providers. In addition, the BLN includes over 4000 online distribution partners and leading e-book platforms that create our global content distribution program. Lastly, we believe that creating modern relevance and raising awareness of important books is an essential to helping libraries share what they have with the world. We use Strategic Retailing Partners (SRP’s) to help us package, customize and sell this content worldwide to appropriate audiences.

We have a vision that paying customers can fund the digitization of the world’s books and we think libraries are anchors of any healthy and vibrant community. And  in this digital age, they serve an important role as a physical meeting place of culture. We think this program can further that vision.
